加州板牌RIPNDIP跟很多板牌一樣,創辦人Ryan O’Connor本身也是1位板仔,因此品牌的名字亦源於滑板RIP(代表踩板)和DIP(代表散水)。由09年成立至今短短數年,已經名震街牌界,並非僥倖。在這個寧當貓奴不做人的世界風氣下,其名為Lord Nermal的「中指貓」就為品牌帶來成功,而其他鬼馬設計亦非常有趣,深得各路潮人喜愛。最近更夠膽在大哥Supreme旁開設期間限定店,而且排隊人龍情況絕不輸給Supreme!雖然你未必有機會親身朝聖,但最近就有本地潮店引入,不少注目商品以及連極度斷碼的RIPNDIP中指貓pocket tee亦齊色上架,要有。

於LA Fairfax的街牌王者Supreme旁邊開期間限定店,RIPNDIP有種得來亦具霸氣。

排隊情況一樣誇張,但沒有開槍。

RIPNDIP最signature的設計一定是pocket tee,黑、白、灰等長期斷貨色,今次香港齊色上架,另外粉紅及粉藍最適合跟女朋友情侶tee着用。各$299

所有tee款均於LA製作,不過着開日本厚料tee的我就略嫌有點薄身。

about RIPNDIP

As soon as O’Connor realized that there was a buzz going around about the slogan appearing across sheets of grip in his native Florida, he got his hands on a screen printing press and screened the original RIPNDIP logo onto as many t-shirts as he could get his hands on. Following this he got his mates together in a van and organized a low-key skate tour in which they turned up at as many skateparks as possible, shredded as hard as they could and handed out all of the shirts.

As the clothing line grew to include five panel caps, beanies, button-up shirts and hoodies, O’Connor was having to store the entire inventory in his apartment and ship all orders from there. With growing demand O’Connor saw the opportunity to relocate the brand to L.A, where him and his small staff are able to skate downtown L.A on their lunch breaks and handle business from the traditional hub of the American skateboarding industry.

The company prides itself on producing all of its clothing in the USA. The emphasis is on fun, friendship and creativity. This manifests itself in the fact that the team is mostly made up of O’Connor’s good friends (as opposed to having a roster of big name affiliates) and the sense of silliness that is injected into the logos and designs through the use of cats, flamingos and other wild creatures.
